“Survive and advance” is the theme for #MarchMadness and the NCAA basketball tournament. I recorded this video right before settling into the control room to serve up replays on the Jumbotron screen for a 2nd Round tournament game – Pitt Panthers v. Tennessee Lady Vols.
The Lady Vols hit their free throws down the stretch to pull away from Pitt at the end. They head to Spokane, WA for the Sweet Sixteen.
This victory required 100% effort for all 40 minutes. There is never a good time to coast during a tournament. One loss is all it takes to end your season in a hurry. Just ask Kansas or Villanova in the Men’s bracket…or Princeton in the Women’s.
