Have you ever noticed how television channels run the same show several times a week? Especially the cable networks…or, you see the same infomercial on two or more channels at the same time…or they’re running half an hour apart?
Have you ever taken the time to wonder why?
If you want your marketing to stand out, you need to be visible – very visible – “in-front-of-your-ideal-client-every-time-they-turn-around” visible.
What TV program executives, infomercial advertisers, and even digital marketers know is something that you can learn from and emulate.
Be VISIBLE to your ideal client…often.
If you blog, try increasing the frequency of your posts. If you buy native ads, try adding $10 to your budget. If you mail information, increase the frequency of your mailings. If you use email, try sending more frequently. The main goal is to train your ideal client to recognize you and to respond when their need for your product or service becomes urgent to them.
We are bombarded by marketing messages all day long. So are you. Your ideal client is, too.
Our brains are conditioned to filter out messages that are irrelevant to our immediate needs. This is the case for the majority of your ideal clients today. They’re just not ready to buy, but tomorrow may be a different story.
Will you be there for them tomorrow when they want what you offer?
Frequency works.
