Since the invention of the remote control, audience retention has been a challenge for video content producers.  You think it’s tough for television programmers?  It’s a bigger challenge for internet video, because we watch videos on the web with our finger on the mouse.  On average, viewers click to the next video within 8 seconds.

It’s imperative that your marketing videos grab your customer’s attention immediately.  If they don’t, you’ll find no response to your call to action at the end of the video because no one is sticking around to the end to watch.
